There are six Private Ski Clubs in the region: The Georgian Peaks Ski Club, Craigleith Ski Club, Beaver Valley Ski Club, Alpine Ski Club, Osler Bluff Ski Club and Toronto Ski Club. Each has its own unique membership opportunities and communities whose Chalets range from humble après abodes to stunning mansions.

Short Term Accommodation: AirBnB Investment Properties
In order to have a Short Term Accommodation aka an Air BnB or VRBO Investment property, you will need a licence from The Town of the Blue Mountain AND your property must fall into a specific pre-determined zone. Referencing the map to the right: those lands where an STA is listed as a permitted use on a property (any “RR” zone). You must complete the Pre-Screening Application found in the Application Guide and submit it to the STA Licensing Administrator for review, a $75 application fee applies. If you are approved, there are Licensing Fees. If you are not approved, there are appeal processes with the Town. A Short Term Accommodation is considered less than 30 days, so any home owner is able to rent their home for 30 days or more at a time. Many property investors in the Blue Mountain area Seasonally Rent or Lease.
